Rickmansworth

Rickmansworth is a lively vibrant town in south-west Hertfordshire surrounded by peaceful countryside with good links into London. The station has direct links to Baker Street taking approximately 30 minutes and Chiltern trains directly to Marylebone taking approximately 20 minutes.

Rickmansworth is very well connected with Heathrow airport roughly 13 miles away, Luton airport in the region of 17 miles, and Gatwick being approximately 37 miles away. The high street features an array of boutique shops and hairdressers/barbers, along with a host of charity shops and banks. Here you will find a vast selection of coffee shops, like Harris & Hoole, which is famous for its cinnamon squares. Annual pantomime shows, including some school productions are held at Watersmeet Theatre, along with current films which are shown in a cinema style layout.

This affluent town has a mix of houses and flat, although the majority of the flats are located in the town centre. Around the town centre you will find Victorian terraced houses, and a surge or new builds appearing in the area. Further out of town you will find detached houses especially in the desirable streets and areas of Cedars, Spencer Walk, Lynwood Heights, The Drive, Valley Road, Loudwater.

The Aquadrome is Rickmansworth main green space covering 41 hectares and includes a café, water sports, kids park, cycling and walking. This charming community has a great selection of schools; with the most popular in the area are St Clement Danes, Rickmansworth School and Harvey Road Primary School.
